We are thrilled to introduce our exclusive offering, with only 100 boxes released in the UK market, the Oliva Serie V Melanio Edición Año 2023 Figuriño is a masterpiece crafted for true aficionados.
This limited-edition cigar features the epic Melanio blend in an exceptional, unique shape: the Figuriño. The Figuriño takes a Figurado shape, but tapers at both ends, with dimensions of 5 1/2 inches in length and a 54-ring gauge at their fullest part, situated at the midpoint of the cigar.
Each cigar has a QR code on the back of the band , which when scanned, will link to a story behind the release. Additionally, the cigars are embellished with additional bands of red denoting the release year of 2023.
This limited edition represents a significant milestone in the collaboration between Frederick Vandermarliere and Gilberto Oliva. Breaking new ground in design, this Figuriño shape marks a departure from their previous ventures since joining forces in 2016.
The Oliva Serie V Melanio boasts a hand-rolled construction using meticulously fermented ligero fillers, renowned for their robust and rich flavour profile. Over five years in the making, this exclusive cigar promises to surpass the expectations of even the most discerning cigar enthusiasts.
The Serie V Melanio is characterised by its full-bodied yet smooth flavour, achieved through a blend of Oliva Nicaraguan Habano long filler tobaccos, with a focus on the nuanced leaves from the Jalapa region—a locale known for producing a subtly flavoured leaf compared to the Estelí or Condega regions. This carefully aged Jalapa blend results in a remarkably flavoured smoke.
